Winner of the Efixx 30 under 30s 2024 award and Director of Electralearn Ltd, a freelance lecturing and assessing business, Connor Jenkins started electrical installation at 17 and has been in it ever since. College changed Connors perspective on life and success as he had a very influential teacher which taught him how important educating yourself was in order to have a successful life. This had a great impression so much that 6 years later he was teaching along with him, using education to better people’s lives and character.
From all scopes of installation work to controls and programming Connor has a very wide field of knowledge and whilst working in education for the past 5 years himself and Luke seen the pitfalls that occured in that time. Connor and Luke then decided to join forces and create Luxor Learning, an education training provider that provides a platform to cater to the learners requirements and wishes, with high standards of teaching and a remote platform which is the best of its kind. Connor thrives off education and says it is the most important tool to change your life.
Luke Foster
Luke has been working in the Electrical sector for over 25 years, had his own electrical installation company for over 8 years and has been in the education sector for the last 5 years, where he has had success across various electrical levels including the Apprentice year 1,2,3, Level 3,2,1 Electrical installation Level 3 BS 7671 Electrical regulations, Level 3 Solar PV, Electrical energy storage, Electrical vehicle charging.
Luke won Lecturer of the year in 2022 at City of Wolverhampton college and has since moved on to set up a Renewables and adult learning Centre at Telford college.
Luke has knowledge of the Industrial, commercial and domestic sectors of the Electrical Industry and has worked on huge projects both in the UK and in Europe, such as:
